As I pondered the problems afflicting the Iowa Legislature I have come up with many problems with it. From overspending, over taxation, and immorality just to name a few. But this isn’t a core problem with the system; these are only symptoms of a more fundamental problem within the walls of the state house. Finally I had an epiphany. The core issue that we must deal with is decadence. To be more exact we must deal with Democratic decadence. According to the Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedic College Dictionary the definition of decadence is:
1. A process of deterioration; decay.
2. A condition or a period of decline, as in arts or morals.
The Iowa government is definitely in the process of deteriorating. At one time Iowa’s schools and Iowa’s family values have guided the hands of our representatives to the states governing body. The government of Iowa is most certainly in a period of decline, especially in morality category. As little as ten years ago our government was still the hallowed and respected leaders that one could truly call a role model. But under the leadership of Mike Gronstal our government’s moral compass has been in a rapid decline that can only end in the cesspool of immorality that will end our way of life. Mike Gronstal and his Democratic henchman want to increase spending in every way possible. I wonder if in their minds they look at the population of Iowa and see an uneducated population incapable of making their own decisions.
Now the voters of Iowa Senate District 50 have an opportunity to right the ship so to speak. They have an opportunity to elect a person of high moral character. They have the opportunity to elect a man that knows the difference between right and wrong. That knows the taking of any human life is wrong, regardless of whether that life is still in the womb or whether it is in a nursing home. He knows that it is not man’s place to decide when to end an innocent life. Voters of Iowa, let me introduce you to the candidate of moral character in District 50; let me introduce you to Mark Brandenburg.
Mark Brandenburg is dedicated to the successful education of the people of Iowa. He is dedicated to the defense of our 2nd amendment rights. He is committed to promoting the protection of innocent life. He is committed to the State of Iowa.
Mark Brandenburg stands in stark contrast to Gronstal. Mark Brandenburg is a man of unwavering moral character, unlike his opponent. Ladies and gentleman it is time to cut the head off the serpent of Democratic decadence. It is time to elect a leader that knows that while you may not be able to legislate morality; in order to successfully legislate you must be moral. Citizen’s of District 50, when you enter the voting booth on November 4th, I implore you to do the right thing and elect Mark Brandenburg to represent you in the Iowa Senate. And I urge you to reject the decadence of Mike Gronstal.

Brandenburg is awesome! Let’s get rid of Gronstal.
Wow, it sounds like Gronstal has a battle ahead of him. Good!
