I would like to thank abregar for the post exposing Democrat Bruce “Bacon” Braley for the extortionist that he really is. His support and use of earmarks in his district is nothing short of bribery. He will tell the citizens of his district that if they re-elect him he will bring more of this spending into his district. This is essentially buying his votes.
However, the voters in District 1 can make a positive change by electing a leader that I feel confident would not attempt to bribe them. That leader is David Harsuch. David has been a member of the Iowa Senate since the 2006 election. He has tirelessly advocated for the rights of the innocent. This can be evidenced through his support for the amendment that banned the usage of public funds for partial birth abortions. He supported an amendment that would have shifted $200,000 from unplanned pregnancy and counseling services to a new program that would have provided counseling and support services that advocated for childbirth rather than abortion. This amendment ultimately would have saved the lives of many children, but it ultimately failed in the face of liberal opposition. While in the Iowa State Senate many bills came through the Senate seeking to rape more money from the citizens of Iowa. Senator Hartsuch fought these fees and taxes with all his heart. One such fee was the increase in registration fees for vehicles. David fought this tragedy that was masked as progress, unfortunately the tax and spend types in Des Moines won out as this bill was passed.
There has been a lot of talk this campaign season about change. Most of it is just change for the sake of change. In this case it will be change for the betterment of the State of Iowa, and the United States of America. It is time to enact change to limit the out of control spending in the form of earmarks that has signified the Democrat majority as well as Bruce Braley’s representation of House District 1. Come November vote for fiscal responsibility, vote for REAL honest to goodness change, vote for David Hartsuch.

I talked to David Hartsuch at convention. What an intelligent guy with lots of potential. I hope the Republican party helps him out since this district had been Republican for a long time up until 2006. He can get that seat back.
I like that, the extortionist. Almost as good as Bruce “The Bacon” Braley. Those that vote for Braley and his earmarks are prostituting themselves to send America deeper into debt.
As bad as Braley is Harkin was worse with over $300 million in earmarks in just one year. This asinine spending has got to stop. It is time to replace them with someone that has some economic common sense.
OINK, OINK!!!!!!! Time for a change. Vote David Hartsuch.
David Hartsuch has not spoken one word to his constituents in this part of the district. Not one word about the working class, price gouging of Big Oil Companies, lack of jobs, healthcare and education are are for the rich. Hartsuch must be only talking to his rich. If he thinks Democrats are the only ones spending my tax money is really the pot calling the kettle black on that one.
Hartsuch silent will be his demise and maybe you will have work for a living.
